Meet Our Educators

Miss Jackie

Miss Jackie

Miss Jackie is a Filipino and Chinese descent.  She moved to Hong Kong with her mother when she was 15 years old.  She started teaching back in 2008 in one of the international kindergarten in Hong Kong as an assistant and a playgroup teacher.  After 3 years she became a class teacher in K1 for 3 years and a PN teacher for 2 years.  She is determined to make a difference in children’s early childhood education.  Miss Jackie is very animated with children.

On her free time she loves going to the beach and watch movies with her family.  Miss Jackie is super excited to be part of Grace Garden and looking forward to meet and teach the lovely children.

Miss Riya

Miss Riya

I am deeply honored to be a part of GGIK.  I am sure this will be an awesome journey of adventure with my little pals.  I’ve always enjoyed being around kids.  I was born in Hong Kong and have studied, lived, and worked here since then.  I love Chinese culture and have good knowledge on Chinese traditions too.  Having a big circle of friends benefitted me in speaking some basic Cantonese.  My understanding about teaching is that children learn more efficiently and effectively through play, therefore I usually keep my teaching atmosphere friendly where children can openly share their imaginations, creativity and ideas with each other.

Miss Yan

Miss Yan

你好! My name is Ms Yan and I’m delighted to be part of Grace Garden.  I am committed to inspiring my students to embrace the beauty of the Chinese language and culture through engaging and enjoyable experiences.  With a strong background in teaching Chinese, I have developed various methods such as incorporating pinyin, recitation and storytelling to enhance their learning journey.

Miss Nadira

Miss Nadira

My name is Sabazova Nadira, and I come from Kazakhstan. I have eight years of experience working with young students and teenagers. It has always been my passion to teach and engage with youngsters. I have been living in Hong Kong for six years. Previously, I worked in a training center for 3.5 years in Hong Kong, as well as in kindergartens in China for four years. I have lived in different countries due to my parents’ work. I went to Sacred Heart High School in California and graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Kazakhstan.

I believe that communication is the key to your children’s success and a great parent/teacher relationship. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I am looking forward to our kindergarten adventure with your child and family. It will be a year of magical wonder and tremendous growth for your little star!
